Subject

In accordance with Article 13 of the Federal Constitution of the Swiss Confederation and the Federal Data Protection Act of June 19, 1992 (DPA), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. SeQure takes the protection of personal data and privacy seriously. We strive, in cooperation with our hosting providers, to protect the databases as much as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification. In this regard, we use the latest technical and organizational security measures. We would like to point out that complete data protection against access by third parties is not possible and that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. In this privacy policy, we explain our handling of personal data. This concerns both the collection, further processing, use, disclosure, storage and also the deletion of this data.

 

Scope of application

The subject of the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) is personal data. Personal data is any data relating to an identified or identifiable person (Art. 3 lit. a DPA).
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Furthermore, we process personal data in accordance with the following legal basis pursuant to Art. 6 (1) of
the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (EUGDPR):

• Processing with the consent of the data subject. (lit. a)
• Processing for the purpose of contract performance or corresponding pre-contractual measures with the data subject. (lit. b)
• Processing for compliance with legal obligations to which we are subject. (lit. c)
• Processing for the protection of legitimate interests of us or of third parties, unless the fundamental freedoms and rights and interests of the data subject override these. Legitimate interests are in particular our business interest in being able to provide our website and information security. (lit. f)
  
  

Collection of data when using our website

Collection of data when using our website Our website is not a functional homepage but a pure landing page for information about our company and for contacting interested partners. The only digital interaction is the contact form.

 

Server Logfiles

When you access our website, the following data is stored in so-called log files:

• name of the internet service provider
• date and time
• used search words to find our website
• general transmitted information about the operating system resp. browser

This usage data forms the basis for statistical or backup purposes, as well as system administration and anonymous evaluations, so that trends can be identified, which we can
use to improve our services accordingly. Under certain circumstances, this data may allow conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. However, personal data is not used in this  context.

 

Cookies

We use so-called “cookies” on our website. Cookies are small text files that enable the recognition of the customer based on his IP address. They are stored either temporarily for
the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on the respective end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
Permanent cookies remain stored on the computer until the person concerned deletes them themselves or an automatic solution is provided by the respective web browser. In general, the use of cookies serves to improve our services and to make them more effective and secure. Users can manage their cookie settings on their web browser independently. Numerous cookies are technically necessary for visiting our website, as certain website functions cannot be executed without them. Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior. Deactivating all cookies may limit the functionality and scope of functions of our website.|

 

Google-Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (formerly Google Inc.). Google Analytics uses cookies as text files that are stored on the respective web browser and enable an analysis of the use of the website (see 4.2.). The informationgenerated by the cookies about the use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use Google Analytics with the extension “AnonymizeIP”. Through this extension, the IP addresses are still shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information to evaluate usage behavior on the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services related to website usage and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The IP address transmitted by the browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Data transfer to third parties

Usage data is transferred to our partners (third parties) if the provision of the contractual services makes this necessary. If we pass on data to external service providers, technical and organizational measures are taken to ensure that the transfer is in accordance with the legal provisions of data protection. If individuals provide personal or company-related data on their own initiative, this data will not be used, processed or passed on beyond the scope permitted by law or specified by the individuals through a declaration of consent. Usage data will only be passed on to external service providers insofar as this is necessary for the processing of the contract and those service providers have agreed to the corresponding confidentiality and due diligence provisions. Beyond this, data will only be passed on if we are obliged to do so by law or by official or court orders. We reserve the right to strategically rely on third party advertising to support our services in the future. Some of these advertising partners may use technologies such as cookies (see 4.2.) and Google Analytics (see 4.3.), which transmit certain data to them, including the IP address, for statistical purposes or so-called geotargeting (location-based advertising). References to links and websites of third parties are outside our area of responsibility. Any responsibility for such websites is declined. Access and use of these websites is at your own risk.

 

Changes

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time in the event of changes in the legal framework and in the course of the development of the Internet and our business.
Users will be informed about changes by the current publication of the new privacy policy on our website.
